Hi Andrew, this one's not in my thesis!
There are several records of this species for HK, including a couple of specimens. However, as yet no success in putting a name on it!
There are three very similar species in Fang (2000) - Fauna Sinica Insecta vol 19: Lepidoptera, Arctiidae, placed in the genus Hyposiccia, which Holloway (2001) placed as a synonym of Aemene. The three species are A. (H.) pectinata (Fang, 2000) (from Guangxi), A. (H.) parvula (Fang, 1990) (from Hainan) and A. (H.) punctigera Leech, 1899 (from Fujian, central China, Sichuan and Yunnan). It is likely that the HK species is either pectinata or a closely related, undescribed species.
