this species has now been identified as Apomyelois fasciatella Inoue, 1982, which was placed as a junior synonym of Trisides bisignata Walker, 1863 in Li et al., 2009 (Insect Fauna of Henan; Lepidoptera: Pyralidae. Science Press, Beijing).
However, I am not 100% sure the synonymy is correct - the illustrations of bisignata available lack the red scaling on the forewing medial vein.. Need to compare the reproductive morphology against the Walker's type series in The Natural History Museum to sort this issue out.
