At Wah Fu on 27th Sept. 2012, I found a whole lot of lip tips rolled under (see pic) wiith larvae of various instars. The last one taken eclosed yesterday (ie 18th Oct). The moth is about 10 mm body length. The total number of leaf rolls in a fairly small area is incredible! The larvae feed on Microcos paniculata.

taxonomic update - all HK data referring to Lygropia quaternalis or Notarcha quaternalis is a mis-identification of Notarcha aurolineata.
The taxon quaternalis is the African sister species.
