A new report entitled "Review on Hong Kong's Wild Animal and Plant Protection Laws" produced by a team led by Prof. Amanda Whitfort (Faculty of Law, The University of Hong Kong) was released today. Five Ordinances were reviewed for their effectiveness in protecting wild native flora and fauna, with considerable input from experts in the academic and NGO communities.
The Review is intended to inform the BSAP process, and we will be holding a presentation at HKU to brief the conservation community and other interested parties on either;
Weds 2 Oct (6-7.30 pm)
Weds 9 Oct (6-7.30 pm)
