Checking again as I'm going through the burnet moths at the moment for the HK moth book.

The moths in the photo are almost certainly Illiberis sinensis, though without specimens to examine, I can't be 100% sure.
Great find - only a couple of previous records, from the 1970s (nr. Kowloon Reservoir) and the end of the 19th Century (no location other than "Hong Kong", so likely HK Island)!
