After collecting some mature larvae at the site on 2nd June, 2013, tried various substances from the tree
to feed the larvae, without visible success. Apparently 3 of the larvae were fed well enough and close
enough to pupation to actually pupate, though this was not really noticed until about two weeks later.
Three pupae were formed and two eclosed on 28th-30th June. New ova were deposited on 3rd July.
ws of the specimen without the brown line on the fore wings was 5.5 cm. One further note: A similar pair
had been observed mating while hanging onto the aerial roots of a Ficus microcarpa at the Rehab clinic in
Lam Tin on 11th June. One other single moth had been taken at the HKIEd near the end of May.
